About

H. Donald Ratliff is a Regent’s Professor Emeritus in the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech.  He was Founding Executive Director of the Georgia Tech Supply Chain and Logistics Institute and currently serves as Co-Executive Director of the Georgia Tech Panama Logistics Innovation & Research Center.

He has spent more than 40 years developing and implementing new last-mile delivery concepts and software for enterprises including USPS, UPS, Pepsi, and Coca-Cola. His contributions to logistics optimization have been recognized by his election to membership in the National Academy of Engineering and as a fellow of IISE, INFORMS, and AAIA (Asian Artificial Intelligence Association).  He is also founder and CEO of Delivery Dynamics, a last mile delivery software company.

Dr. Ratliff is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the Johns Hopkins University.    He served as Chair of the World Economic Forum’s Council on the Future of Supply Chains and Logistics and served two terms as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Operations Research.
